Have a Blessed and Reflective Thanksgiving

It is always good to give thanks with a grateful heart. Give thanks to the Holy One. Give thanks because He has given Jesus Christ His Son. And now, let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich because of what the Lord has done for us.

No matter how we look at it. No matter how we size it up....we give thanks for what He has done! He died on the cross, He was sacrificed for our sins, resurrected and presented as the Lamb of God, a Living Sacrifice for our sins. He showed us how to live out our humanity in submission to the Father, full of and yielded to the Spirit. He revealed the Love of the Father for His children for He was and is that living Love of the Father. He emptied His body of life so He could be the Way, the Life and Truth in us.

He teaches us to give thanks with grateful hearts. He teaches us to give and to love sacrificially, without hypocrisy and dissimulation. He gave His only begotten Son that none should perish but all may have eternal life through Jesus Christ.

We give thanks for His Kingdom, for this great nation, for Israel. We give thanks for our families, our friends and co-laborers in Christ, our co-workers, associates, 5 fold ministry gifts, our gifts, for the Giver of gifts. We give thanks for the Spirit of prophecy that testifies of Jesus Christ, the body of Christ, our sisters and brothers in the Lord. We giving thanks for souls being born into the Kingdom of God for such a time as this, healings, miracles and the gospel being preached all over the world!
We give thanks for the hungry being fed, the homeless being sheltered, for the Word of God, the will of God, the testimonies of the saints. We give thanks for our forefathers who died that we may live peaceably and free. We give thanks for this nation being built upon the Word of God, for the gospel of Jesus Christ being preached freely in America. We give thanks for the Holy Spirit who dwells within teaching, guiding, empowering, regenerating, sealing, teaching, leading us....

We give thanks for the government of America and Israel, the president of the United States and the prime minister of Israel, our enemies who ultimately teach use to love perfectly. We give thanks in the midst of trials, afflictions and tribulations that test our faith that it be refined in the Refiner's fire. We give thanks for the prayers of the righteous in this nation availing so much and our thanks goes on and on ....

Let's consciously choose a heart of thanksgiving as we celebrate and reflect this Thanksgiving Day!

“That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good (Rom 8:28; THE MESSAGE).”

“Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live (1 Thess. 5:16-18; THE MESSAGE)”
